PREPARE/ENRICH PROGRAM:

The Prepare Enrich Program was created to help prepare couples for

marriage and strengthen married couples.  The program will cultivate

and create a safe environment for couples to talk more openly with each

other.  There is an online assessment that identifies individual’s strength

and growth areas.  The assessment is appropriate for couples that are dating, engaged or married.  The assessment covers 9 core scales such as: Communication, Conflict resolution, Partner Style & Habits, Financial Management, Leisure Activities, Sexual Expectations, Family & Friends, Relationship Roles and Spiritual.

PREMARITAL COUNSELING:

Premarital counseling is designed to assist couples that are dating and/or engaged to be married to recognize their strengths and areas of growth as it relates to stressors, conflict resolution, finances, communication style, and compatibility. Research suggests that premarital counseling reduces the risk of divorce by up to 30% according to the Marriage Directory of Marriage and Family Counseling.

ANGER MANAGEMENT COUNSELING:

Anger Management Counseling will assist individuals and couples- engaged or married- in identifying their emotions both negative and positive and develop accountability and responsibility for their actions.  Anger is a normal emotion; however, if not addressed or appropriately dealt with, it can compromise the stability of a relationship by hindering trust, intimacy, and communication.

BLENDED FAMILY COUNSELING:

Blended Family Coaching provides blended families and re-married couples with the necessary tools to successfully manage their families.  The coaching sessions are not only for the parents, but the sessions are for the entire family unit.  The goals of the coaching sessions are to assist parents in understanding the benefits and the potential challenges of a blended family and to allow each family member to have a voice.  Areas that are addressed during the sessions are: Common Pitfalls, Communication, Conflict Resolution, Role Identity, Disciplining, Relationship Building, and Spirituality.

INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING:

Individual therapy is client- centered and is used as a tool to help children, adolescents, and adults learn self- reflect. Clients will learn more about themselves, identify their strengths and growth areas, and help individuals learn positive coping mechanisms.  Everyone experiences some form of stress. While this is normal, the challenge becomes identifying positive methods for handling individual stress.

GROUP THERAPY:

Group therapy is an ongoing support system for adolescents, teens, and adults.  The groups include 5 to10 individuals that meet at least once a week for 6 to 8 weeks to discuss and process various topics and issues.  Some groups focus on specific topics or problems, while others address a number of different concerns.  The groups are created to provide support, and promote healing.
